English Premier League
Bolton come into this one with confidence high after consecutive Premier League wins over Manchester City and Hull. Matt Taylor scored the only goal against the Tigers to grab the victory that lifted Wanderers up to 11th in the table. But it will surely be a different prospect when Rafa Benitez's Liverpool roll up to the Reebok. The Reds have made a great start to the season and are only being kept off top spot by Chelsea's superior goal difference. Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane were rested for their midweek trip to Tottenham in the Carling Cup, but they'll be back in contention for this one.
HEAD TO HEAD
Liverpool took away three points from the Reebok for the first time in five visits from last season's corresponding fixture in March.
The Reebok Stadium was the scene of Benitez' first defeat as Liverpool manager on 29 August 2004.
On six of the last eight occasions when these clubs have met, the side playing at home has kept a clean sheet.
Bolton were one of seven clubs Liverpool did the double over last season; the Reds were one of five to do the double over the Trotters.
